Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I just found out about a month ago that I have a uterine polyp and have been waiting for an appointment to find out what has to be done about it, just yesterday I found out I am pregnant. I have some cramping and discomfort in my lower stomach area, is that a bad sign that I m going to lose the pregnancy? Do I have a higher risk of miscarriage because of the polyp?
Hello, Uterine polyps usually do not interfere with pregnancy. See your obstetrician as soon as possible and let them know what is going on. It often happens that you have some cramping and discomfort in early pregnancy and it does not mean that you will lose the pregnancy. Regards
