How to treat umbilical hernia?

I have an umbilical hernia, wondering if it is better to live with it versus the risks of complications with the surgery and especially complications post op with hernia repairs. I also feel it is best, if possible, to avoid foreign or man-made objects internally.

Eventually it might get to bad I will have no choice. I don't know if these generally enlarge, or get more uncomfortable, painful.?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern if the hernia is not sever enough that could cause twisting problem then this can be manage conservatively, and for that take care for abdominal dictation, use abdominal brace, avoid lifting heavy weight (Use abdominal brace which could keep the umbilical area under pressure ) hope this information helps you, take care and have good time.
