i am a 50yr old male with type 2 diabetes. I have a pains in both my sides for sometime and my doctor did a dipstick urine test which showed blood and a white blood cell count. She gave me penicillin and after the course i had to do another test which was tested by the doctor and then sent off for further tests. what could be the diagnosis of these tests?

Hi,

If you can tell us the tests name we can tell why the tests are done. The dipstick test showed blood and WBC suggest infection if you had symptoms of UTI and hence a course of antibiotic has been given. The other possibility is any ureteric stone causing injury.

Retesting might have shown the same status so your doctor has asked for further tests. Write back with the tests name for further discussion.

Hope this information helps you.
Regards
