How To Treat Tongue Soreness And Swelling?

hi i just stop smoking about 2 months now. my doctor had me on symbicort, which i have never been on an inhaler. now under my touge..sublingual papila is swollen. for about 3 weeks now. my doctor gave me penniceelin 2 wks ago. the swelling is down but not gone. also my togue is sore and numb on the right right...help

hi,
about your tongue soreness may be oppurtunistic fungal infection due to use of corticosteroid inhaler.
first and foremost after usage of inhaler you need to rinse your mouth with lukewarm water. get
candid mouthpaint and apply it as frequently as possible....it may help relieve the soreness.

just check with your physician after 14 days if symptoms don't subside.
