How To Treat The Plagiocephaly Condition In An Infant?

My 6 month old baby girl has plagiocephaly (flat head) and the head looks like a parallelogram. We noticed this condition when she was 3 months old and immediately consulted few doctors. They said that the condition will self correct as the baby grows older. We tried re-positioning her but it did not help. Now she is 6 months old but the condition has worsened rather than improving. Still doctors are saying it will improve by the time she is 1.5 years old. We don't want to take any chances. What can be done to correct her head deformation? Can you recommend a doctor in India (Bangalore/Mumbai)? Are cranial helmets available in India? Where? Please help.

Skull has 22 bones interlinked by various sutures like sagittal,coranal,me topic.these sutures are not tight.Thereby allowing increasing brain space.Sometimes some part of suture are closed from birth called as craniosynostosis. So skull then can not grows perpendicular to it resulting in deformed skull.It can be diagnosed by 3D CT scan.Treatment is earlier surgery.In Mumbai dr naresh Biyani in Bombay hospital is good at it
