Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The pain is related to local inflammation. I recommend taking gabapentin for the pain. This drug is an anti-epilepsy drug, used to treat chronic body or nerve pain. You should discuss with your doctor on the above treatment option.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
