How To Treat Swollen Eyes?

Hello, I have a very swollen left eye. Yesterday I was cutting down some ivy, briar roses and jasmine. I think I nicked the upper lid on a cut twig. I didn t think much of it. Then I went on to clear some weed near a compost bin.In just a few seconds a cloud of small insects were all over me. Some got caught behind my glasses, and today I can see a few little bites in the corner of my eye. I ve been bathing it with cold water and gauze, but the swelling is increasing. What should I do?Your help is much Appreciated, Elizabeth Rees , SM6 8PF

As you said, swelling is because of insect bite. There is a kind of allergic inflammatory reaction which leads to swelling redness and pain. You should immediatly go to nearby ophthalmolgist for proper checkup and treatment. Till then you can take Anti allergic tablet (Chorpheniramine 4mg 6Hrly orally). It will help you.
