Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My clitoris is very swollen and painful. My doctor told me I am having a herpes outbreak and that the swelling will go down as the outbreak subsides. She suggested icing it and applying vitamin e. So far this is doing nothing. Does this seem right to you? I m worried about potential long term damage or that it s something more serious. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks you!
Hi, It seems that there might be having some infection on or near clitoris producing swelling and pain. This can be due to lack of proper local hygiene or some minor injury on clitoris due to irritation or masturbation. Go for one antibiotic medicine course for 3-5 days. After proper cleaning the part apply antibiotic cream. Keep local hygiene clean and dry. Ok and take care.
