General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello welcome to HCM. You fell down hurting on left side. Three things might have happened. first is just muscle pain which goes of or decrease after taking any analgesica. Second there could be rib injury. It could be hair line fracture of ribs or sever type of fracture. There could have been associated breathing problem. Third possibility is which is very rare ribs piercing lungs causing lung injury with pain. Definetly there will be brething problem. To rule out get one plain chest Xray and show it to physician. Take care
