How to treat stomach flu?

I had a stomach virus 4 days ago. I threw up a lot. I have been having a lot of chest pain right in the middle of my chest like heart burn. I woke up today and it was gone. But I just tried to go for a run and it came back very quickly and painfully. Why? How can I fix this?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history stomach virus 4 days ago, having a lot of chest pain in the middle of chest like heartburn, woke up today and it is gone, but came back very quickly on running and is painful, wants to know why and wants to get it fixed.
I would advise you the following:
To get the PPI like Omeprazole started and antacid gel every three hours and Domperidone and your symptoms mimic GERD that is gastroesophageal disease.
It is possible that the stress and anxiety might have been responsible for GERD hence control is very important.
Do not go for running or any such physical activity till you are well recovered from the problems.
Soft bland small frequent feeds help.
No smoking or alcohol if you take these.
No oily, spicy fried foods.
And No to aerated beverages.
