How To Treat Severely Decayed Tooth?

I've been slowly loosing MY teeth due to poverty, always an abscessed tooth prior to pulling. I've a high tolerance for pain seeing as the fear out-weighs the pain! This time the tooth turned black and it's loose, but I've an abscess that I've now busted to drain and using baking soda and water as an antibiotic. Question is will the blackened "dead" tooth fall out on it's own? Can I help the loosened tooth to come out once the infection is gone?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your complain if you have an abscessed tooth that has turned black due to decay and loosening seems to be due to pus formation below the root tips leading to elevation of the tooth from the socket and appears loose and painful..
As you already have lost multiple teeth you should not wait to let it decay to the level that it needs pulling..
You can consult an Endodontist and get an x ray of the tooth done to get looked for a chance of saving the tooth as at time an abscessed tooth can be saved by Root canal treatment followed by capping and a course of antibiotics and painkillers..

In case if you still wants to get it removed only then do not wait further as it can keep progressing to decay and infection can progress to deeper tissues..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
