General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The sense of coldness can be related to a vascular damage. I recommend to do an X-ray of the shoulder for further evaluation and specific treatment. Meanwhile, I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
