How To Treat Severe Pain In Little Toe After Hyper Extension?

A couple weeks ago I stubbed/hyperextened my right pinky toe. I thought noting of it at first. But as the day went on it start to hurt worse. I had it checked out, and the doctor just ereaffirmed I hyperexteneded it. It is the first joint the really hurts the worst. I am always on my feet due to work, and the only relief I get is when I wrap my pinky to the neighoring toe then wrap my ball of foot. How long will I have to deal with this pain?

Welcome at HCM
i have gone through your query and being your doctor I completely understand your health concerns...
In my opinion you should take rest and consult orthopedic surgeon... Have you done x ray of it?? You need a buddy bandage for it. It will help you relieve pain while u can continue with your routine chores....it should not take more than two weeks to heal..
Meanwhile use acetaminophen to relieve pain.. Hope your query is adequately answered. .
