How To Treat Severe Itching Caused Due To Bug Bite?

Some sort of bug bite me about a week ago. It was not a common bug bite I don t think. It didn t start to bother me until about 2 days ago when it began severely itching. I think it might be a blister beetle bite I m not sure, but how can I get this itching to stop??

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems like you have got bitten by a poisonous organism and the toxic chemical that it has stung under your skin seems to be causing a severe allergic reaction that is leading to itching..

I would suggest you to take anti allergics like Benadryl or Levocetrizine..
Apply Steroid gel over the rashes..
Do cool compresses over the itchy area..
Apply Calamine lotion can also soothe the skin..

In case if you still do not find relief consult an Allergist and he can give injection of steroid and anti allergics for faster relief along with or medication..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
