How To Treat Ringworms In Kids?
Hi! My 8 year old son has rinworm. There are 6 patches in total. They are situated on his neck, forearm, tummy and groin. I applied Daktarin, which quelled it and then I read that garlic is very good at getting rid of it so I apply garlic too. The problem now is that most of the patches have turned dark purple! Could you tell me why? & if this is serious and also what can I do.

The treatment for ringworm is Whitfield's ointment (Salicylicacid + Benzoicacid).
It has to be applied locally 2-3 times daily.
Tolnaftate (Tini suspension) local application will also help in clearing ringworm patches.
