How To Treat Rhinitis Medicamentosa? Blocked Nose, Hypertrophy Of Inferior Turbinates, Post Nasal Discharge

hi sir im a medico and i wud like to know , how shud we proceed to treat a case of RHINITIS MEDICAMENTOSA ,the pt comes with the symtom of blocked nose on/off for 1month duration and h/o use of nasal decongestant for 3 weeks on daily basis ,the findings are - hypertrophy of inferior turbinates ,past nasal discharge and mouth breathing .

treatment for rhinitis medicamentosa is stop nasal drops which are in use, and short course of systemic steroids will improve the condition.
you have mentioned hypertrophy of turbinates surgery may be necessary depending on the condition of the patient symptoms and size of the turbinates.
