How To Treat Reoccurring Blister On The Lower Lip?

Hi , I am having a blister in lower lip since 2 weeks . Its a small non painful red color .I am attaching picture also. Incase need more , please let me know .

History , Almost a 1 year + before suffered same problem , Blister lasted for 2-3 months , took b complex and normal Smile gel tried but after i consulted family physician , They told it was small blockage in salivary gland so they did treatment Cotting/Corting ( dont remember the name ) but used electric needle (kind of raising tempreature 200-300 degrees of the very thin needle like instrument) kind of thing to pierce in the inner lip and applied some chemical/medicine . It took 3-4 weeks for the wound to heal.

The blister has re-occurred at the same place again . I need to know the cause , treatment available for it .

Hi. Small blockage of salivary gland as told by your Doctor is called a Sub-mucous cyst. But it is usually whitish and not red. This needs a simple treatment of total excision under local anesthesia with few dissolvable sutures. This is a simple OPD procedure and completely cures. If the blister is red it can be a small hemangioma that is collection of small blood vessels. This too needs the same treatment. And a small advise - do not pick up the lip between teeth as has been observed in other patients with similar problem . This is by habit.
