How To Treat Red Blotchy Skin On Arm?

My boyfriend inhaled a chemical called principal and now he won t stop coughing he also got some on his skin which he said burned him like acid just ate at his skin so now his arm looks all burnt with red blotchy parts all over his arm. What should we do?

He needs to have this incident reported as he now has pulmonary pneumonitis and safety measures need to be implemented to safeguard others and provide better practices. At the very least he needs to consult the poison control and also look at the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) on instructions moving forward.
