Hello,

After reading your query it appears that you have developed secondary infection of the belly button area.

If I were your treating dermatologist then would have preferred to gie oral antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin or cefadroxyl by mouth.

A cream containing fucidic acid or mupirocin helps the condition more better.

Do not try to scratch the area as it can cause further aggravation.

All the best.
