How To Treat Pinched Nerve In Neck?

my neck is killing me on one side. It s causing the whole side of my head to hurt extremely bad, I ve taken ibuprofen, it s uncomfortable and I can t even lay down or rest, no sleep. If i rub my neck it feels better, what do I do for a pinched nerve?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that the pain is due to spasm of the muscles in the neck.

In addition to the pain killer, you may need to add a muscle relaxant and warm compresses to the area to help relieve the tension in the muscles.

A prescription from your doctor may be needed for the muscle relaxant. Eg soma, flexeril, robaxin
