How To Treat Passing Red Stools ?

I have been eating a lot of beets and juice - but my stool is red and I pushed on the stool and red cam out of it - looks like blood - my rectum is sore - I do have hemmorides and sometimes they bleed - I was taking ducolax and the stool comes out fast - did I damage myself?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the hemorrhoid condition you have then it is most advisable to treat this condition first instead of taking laxative and for that you will have to go for surgery, it is most advisable to stay away from the laxative and other medication if is the hemorrhoid, moreover the color and consistency of stool is entirely depends upon what you eat and it may not be indication of any disease all the time hope this information helps.
