How To Treat Painful Whitehead On Skin Caused Due To Insect Bite?
I was in mexico last week and i got what i thought was a mosquito bite. it itched and itched and then afterwards formed a white head. It doesn t itch anymore but is super painful and we squeezed it following pus/whitehead coming out. the redness around it is about two inches and burns. It also is super warm. what could be the problem possibly?

usually, an inflammatory reaction secondary to an insect bite, subsides in about 2-3days time. if wound is persistent, it is best if you consult with a doctor for clinical evaluation, as the wound might have been infected. management (medical and/or surgical) will be directed accordingly.
