How To Treat Painful And Swollen Hands And Wrists?

I have very painful and swollen hands and wrists. Came on gradually over months. Feels like very bad arthritis. Also started having stiffness in all my joints...been on crestor for 18 months and stopped 12 days ago...no relief even after having stopped crestor?

I read your question carefully.
I need to know some details regarding it.
First of all
1- whats your age??
2- For how long you are suffering from this condition??
3- Only hands and wrists joints are involved or some other aswell??
4- Is there any stiffness of effected joints in the morning?? if yes then
5- how long it take to settle the stiffness??
6- Is there any swollen joint??
So, you were taking Crestor which is a statin and use to control blood cholestrol level.
You should go for RA test. now for symptomatic relief you can take painkiller like Acetaminophen 1000mg twice a day after meal.
