Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a weird pain in my ulna, around the mid-point of the bone that reminds me of a growing pain (I m 36 now so I m fairly certain I m not getting taller). The pain extends into my little finger and is of a dull pulsing/throbbing quality. I carried a bunch of boxes yesterday but my muscles aren t particularly sore from that.
Your symptoms are suggestive of a pinched nerve (the ulnar nerve). For this reason, I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam and performing nerve conduction studies.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
