OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

For pain at the site of Implanon Contraceptive device which was implanted 6 months ago, take an anti-inflammatory tablet like Flexon for 5 days and plan to remove this and then start oral contraceptive pill containing low dose hormone.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunita Kothari, OB & GYN Specialist
