Hello,

Obesity may be a cause of intertrigo. Rash or irritant dermatitis in the skin folds is caused by increased temerature, moisture or by rubbing. Maintain your hygiene, take showers regularly or you may get a musty smell.

Wear loose fitting cotton clothes & clothes with moisture-wicking fabrics. Make sure the skin folds are not moist, you can use a blow dryer to help it stay dry.

It may get chronic if not taken care. You can apply 1% hydrocortisone cream topically in the area affected or apply zinc oxide ointment for relieve.

Visit ER, get clinically examined. A course of oral floconazone is effective. Gentle cleansing & moisturing will prevent regular recurrences.

Do regular walking, exercising or swimming. Cut on carbohydrate, oily junk food. Cut on extra salt intake & salty food. Cut on red meat, trans fat, refined flour & cheese. Take skimmed milk. Take veggies & fruits. Dry fruits & cereals. Consult a dietician.
