You can take a course of antibiotics like cephexime or Erythromycin or Augmentin, anti inflammatory painkiller like Diclofenac or Naproxen, decongestant like Pseudoephadrine, Mucolytics like Bromohexine, Cough syrup containing Guaifenesin, warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in his room..
