Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You have two small uterine fibroids.
Normal pregnancy is possible even with fibroids.
Your condition should be first managed with medicines.
Myomectomy can be done if there is complications like infertility, recurrent abortions etc.
You should consult your gynecologist.
Hope i have answered your query.

Take Care

Good afternoon. I am 48yrs old, weighing 147lbs. I recently had a pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound done. The results were as follows: Anteverted, enlarged and heterogeneous uterus. it measured 13.9cm in length with transverse dimensions of 1.2cm by 9.3cm. the uterine volume is 624cc. There were 5 myomas seen. Left-sided subserosal myoma measured 4.1x4.1x4.0cm. Calcified posterior left-sided measured 2.8x2.5x2.5cm. Right-sided measured 3x3.6x3.1cm. Anterior myoma measured 1.5x1.6x1.6cm. Calcification was seen at the level of the uterine fundus on the right which measured 1.8x1.6cm. My question is. What is the best treatment option for my condition? Thank you very much for your assistance. Everlyn

Hi,I am a 31 y/o currently seeing an infertility doctor for my husbands low sperm count. We know we have to do ivf/icsi and we've already paid for it. I went to my clinic for day 2 and 3 testing and they cancelled our cycle b/c they said that I have elevated FSH levels. They said it happens sometimes and that I could just be stressed. They told me to come back next cycle and try again. Could this mean I could be going through early menopause or premature ovarian failure? Are there other tests they could do before getting a definitive answer?
