How To Treat Mild Hemorrhoids And Constipation Blood?

I am 28 years old. I have been to the doctor and had a colonscopy done. I have mild case of hemmoriods internally. Also constipation blood and mucous on the stool. I was also noted to have inflammation in the cecum. I am concerned with this due to the fact my 20 year old brother died of colon cancer. The doctor says we will check back in 3 months with each other to see if he should give me, he didn't want to at the time I went which was a week ago cause he said the medicine is strong. I was thinking about trying a fiber diet or ? What is your response to all of this or is there nothing I can do?

hi, if only constipation is your concern, fibre rich diet ( green leafy vegetables), drinking more fluid, regular exercise can help relieve constipation.
Sitz bath improves the condition to a great extent.
Also, if you are not satisfied with the above method, you can consume liquid paraffin or cremaffin syrup at night to ease defecation. Even with these, if your symptoms do not improve, surgery is another option available for hemarroids.
Since you have a family history of colon cancer, you should get genetic studies done for FAP Gene. Another option is, regular monitoring with colonoscopy for screening of colon cancer.
Prophylactic surgeries are available to prevent familial occurrence of colon cancers.
Until complete workup is done, you don't have to panic.
