How To Treat Migraines And The White Patches In The Throat?

Hi,

On sunday, I had a terrible migraine. A few hours later, I vomited and then yesterday I was extremely fatigued and my body was sore. I had some trouble swallowing last night and when I looked at my throat this morning there were some white patches. What could this be?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM....

When migraine attack comes , vomitting can occur....

Here your tonsil having white dot that can be by pus , food or mucus Debris accumulation...
So there could be tonsilitis or pharyngitis associated that can lead difficult swallowing....

Take antibiotic like amoxyclav for 5 days.
Salt water gargles done.
Plenty of water given....
Avoid excess spicy and fatty foods....

If congestion present antihistaminic drug given....

If needed posterior pharynx swab taken and send for culture...

Whenever migraine attack comes rest in dark room and try to away from bright light and loud noise ....
At that time naproxen or brufen can be taken..

Hope your concern solved.

If needed you can consult ENT surgeon or physician for that.

Take care.
