Hi

Primolut contains Norethisterone which is a derivative of female hormone progesterone. The drug is usually prescribed twice or thrice daily.

Withdrawal bleeding after taking the drug will occur only after stopping the drug. After stopping the drug, you can wait for 5 to 7 days for your periods to resume.

You can wait for a maximum of 10 days.If your periods does not resume ,you may require hormonal treatment to be continued for a few more days at a higher dose.

Hope that was helpful.Let me know if i can assist you further.

Regards
