How To Treat Labyrinthitis?

Was recently(about 2 weeks ago) diagnosed with labyrinthitis, my ears also got rinsed. A week later my ear pain was worse I went back to the doctor and he said my ear os so blocked he can only see the tip of my eardrum. Now I m coughing up gvreen and brown mucus with constant earpain and a headache. I m very tired and recently I haven t been a tired person I have had enough energy for the whole day and now I want to sleep the whole time. Please could you tell me what could be wrong?

Hi.
Read and understood your history.
The history of green and brown mucus is suggestive of an active infection in the nose or sinuses, which travel through the Eustachian tube to the ear. Once the infection reaches the ears, it can spread to the inner ear comprising of labyrinth can cause you vertigo, severe pain and vomiting.

I would advise you the following in such circumstances:
First of all to give sample of the mucus for gram staining, culture and sensitivity.
The CT scan of the mastoids and sinuses to see the extent of infection.
To start on an appropriate broad spectrum antibiotics, decongestants, anti-inflammatory and symptomatic treatment.
Bed rest.
Continue the medicines till you are cured.
