How To Treat Itchy Wound On Vaginal Opening?
Hi, i noticed an unexplained wound/cut in my genital area; vagina lips and itching close to the anus sice May, it has been like that for about Five months now, every month jst before my periods and during ovulation i think. I went for hsv test and i was also tested for hvc which the reault reported scanty staph aureus and weak positive for hsv. I took ceftriazone injection for five days but i am still itching in my anus and it feels like i have a wound/pimple there too. Pleas i need a doctord advice. Thank you

I really appreciate your concern, it could be some infective lesion apart from the viral infection which is very less likely such wound need to be managed with antibiotic locally as well as orally and best drug would be "Tab Cefdinir 300 mg" twice in day for 7 days and for local application "Povidone Iodine" ointment can be tried, keep the area clean, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
