How To Treat Itchy Rashes At Belt Line?

Hello, I have a small rash at my belt line. As well there are tiny pimples (I guess you would call them) within that small area. They are very itchy. I thought it was from my clothes, but after being careful to keep my clothes off of my waist line; it is still here. It has been months. At times it seemed like it was clearing up, but it would always return. When I think back I was told a friend of mine had Scabies, but I didn t have a sexual relationship with her. We hugged a few times and I laid on her bed and floor once. Also of course I m uninsured. Any suggestions. How much would treatment cost about paying out of pocket?

Hi,

As per your query you have itchy rashes at belt line which seems to be that fact that you are being exposed and re-exposed to the allergen and this is the reason that the allergic reaction is persisting.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you take a proper course of antihistamine drug along with a short course of oral corticosteroids after proper prescription. Exfoliate your skin once in a week to remove the dead skin. If the condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist again for proper diagnosis and to rule out any underlying condition and start treatment accordingly. Drink plenty of water.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
