I have a lump that occurs in the SAME area almost monthly. Around that area it is incredibly itchy. The lump is large enough to see and located behind right ear and down toward my neck. I was prescribed another "barrage" of meds from my family doctor after an endodontist. I am at the tail end of a 20 day antibiotic called avalox, finished a SECOND medrol dosepak. I was prescribed these meds AFTER an endodontist prescribed 1000mg daily of biaxin, then medrol dosepak after biaxin, due to an infection in an already worked root canal. I was also experiencing nauseating dizzy spells after finishing meds from the endodontist, hence, my regular doctor's prescription. The drugs I've been prescribed seem to have taken the dizzy part away for the most part, but the lump has appeared more often than it does normally. It was passed off as a "pre-menopausal hormonal" thing, years ago. I am now full blown menopause for the last year and a half. Any "new findings" from an online doc? I'm refusing to do any more meds. Never liked taking meds but gave up on dealing with this.
