How To Treat Itchy And Dry Vagina?

The outside (Labia Majora) area of my vagina are both itchy (incredibly) and dry (peeling or flaking), I seem to be more humid in the area lately. There is no unusual secretion or foul smell just humid. Its is so itchy (mostly at night) I scratch till it bleeds, it is so incredibly irritated that my partner and I have not been having intercourse. I also noticed what seems to be small bead like lumps under the skin (as if they were blocked sebasious glands all over the labia majora area, very uneven unsmooth skin). There is no itching or burning on the inside of the vagina. I was to my gynocologist a few months ago with the same question, he told me there is no infection and that I do not have a yeast infection he prescribed me a cortosone/clotrimaderm cream for 1 week, and sen me to out patient gynocology to have polyps removed. I have 6 children, have had an oophorectomy and tube removed after a baseball sized cyst was found, my tubes tied, had 5 years of colposcopy treatment for severe cervical dysplasia and just recently had polyps removed from my cervix.

I am tired after 10 years of seeing my OBGYN 4 times a year and atleast once a year finding some kind of something wrong, I am 37 had 2 sexual partners in my life and 1 yeast infection... What do you think the problem could be? should I ride it out? Should I see my Dr?.................. HELP!!!

Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern from the history given here I could say that chances of infection is just likely along with this you seem to have other issued too and that might be related with the functional elements and that is not be worried for the vaginitis you can well treat this condition with, Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day for 5 days hope this information helps you, take care and have nice day.
