How To Treat Injury In Frostbitten Patches On The Thighs?

My daughter has what appears to be large frostbitten patches on the front of both thighs. She ran in cold windy weather. The skin peeled off the left leg injury. The injury site is 7 in. long by 5 in. wide. What should she be using to treat this?

Hi,

Since the injury is 7X5 inches, to prevent any infection and for rapid healing daily sterile dressing with povodine iodine is required. Also oral antibiotics may be required if she feels any systemic problem.

Better to consult your doctor once for examination or else kindly upload a good quality photo of it for further discussion on its management.

Hope this helps you.
Regards
