How To Treat High Temperature (104.3) With Appetite Loss In A 2 Years Old Child?

Hello, My son has had a fever of 104.3 all day until given medicine, it is now down to 102.6. He wont eat, except a quarter cup of grapes and maybe around 24 oz of water total all day. i know from the lack of drinking he must be dehydrated but i tried my hardest to get fluids down him..what do i need to look for and to help my son
he is two years old

I am sorry your son is not well. as far as hydration, you can keep track of his wet diapers. If he produces 1-2 wet diapers per 24 hours, then he is reasonably well hydrated. I recommend, however, that you consult with your pediatrician if the fever persists for more than 2 days.
