How To Treat Heart Murmur At An Young Age?
Hi I'm 19 years old and just been diagnosed with a heart murmur. I'm really worried about it because I such a young age I have such a shortness of breathe I can't really work out or run for more then a few minutes. Am I gonna have to get surgery??? Or am I over looking this?

We have to find out the cause for heart murmur. You can go for an echo test to look for any septal defect like ASD, VSD which can produce murmurs.
In most cases no treatment is required and the defect will close as you grow older.
