How To Treat Headache?

no insurance, headaches/earache every day. Hello, my name is Kadie. I m 24 stay at home mom of 2 kids. For the past 2 years I ve suffered from a very specific headache/earache every day. Its a very dull throb on my right side of my head almost behind my ear. Its in the same spot every time my head hurts. I ve tried naproxen, Tylenol, loritab and nothing seems to help. I work out very often eat pretty healthy. I ended having to take an anti stress medicine (Colonzapan) 0.5 mg twice a day...it helps but I feel its just a blanket to what maybe cold be going on. I don t have insurance and can t afford a cat scan. I also take adderall for adhd 30mg a day

Neurologist 's  Response
Hello,

I have noted your clinical details. Your headache has not responded to several good pain killers. And this deserves doing a brain scan.

I have noted that you have no insurance Despite this, you need to get it done. In India, a CAT scan of the brain can be done for 15 USD (which is less than the cost of a meal)!

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist
