Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that your mother might be having her symptoms due to cervical spondylosis.

Since her job profile requires working on computers for long durations, chances of neck discomfort are present, if she has wrong posture while working.

Following precautions will be helpful:-
1. While working, she should try to keep her neck in line with her body.
2. She should also give rest to her neck in between long sitting hours.
3. At home, she should not use thick pillow while lying.

She can use cervical collar while at work for better support of the neck muscles.

If the symptoms persists, she can be given painkiller along with a muscle relaxant and anti vertigo medicine under medical supervision.

I would also advise that she should be clinically examined and investigated by an Orthopedician.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
