How To Treat Head Injury In A 8 Years Old Child?

My 8 year old hit her head on corner of piano bench after getting her feet swept out from under her while wrestling with her sister.....hard. She says it really hurts but no signs of anything but pain. And she has a headache. The spot is soft and the size of a quarter. What should I do.

Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

The baby looks absolutely fine and there is no cause for concern.
If you notice any of the signs , consult Pediatrician/Pediatric Surgeon at earliest

1. Excessive crying or excessive sleeping
2. Abnormal movements of the body which could be convulsion
3. Persistent Vomiting: 1 or 2 episode of vomiting is quite common in Pediatric Head injury and is not cause for concern.
4. Loss of consciousness

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care
