How To Treat Fungal Infection?

hi doc.. I was told I have a fungal infection and prescribed Forcan 150 by Cipla. having taken themedicine earlier today.. I have some reaction ln my hands specially my fingers.. some spots feel needles and some feel very very sensitive and itchy.. I have taken an allegra and then avil 25.. nothing has worked

Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
As your doctor as confirmed that you are having fungal infection for which he has prescribed oral antifungal medicine.
You may be allergic to this medicine, you never to which medicine we are allergic.
As you are having allergic to this medicine you can take other antifungal drugs like Allylamines (Terbinafine).
You can apply topical anti fungal drugs along with this anti fungal drug orally.
For immediate relif you can take oral antihistamines and consult your doctor regarding this, he may suggest the alternative medicine for the fungal infection.
