Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I banged my forearm and at first it was numb and swollen, I put ice on it and the redness and the swelling has gone down. But now it hurts when I lift it high and has 2 hard spots and hurts when I pick things up but feels fine just slightly achey when rested. Do I need to do anything?
Welcome to HCM I have read and understood your query I hope this will help you In my view you just had a tissue injury which is giving you the symptoms you have mentioned. But to be on safe side just get an xray done.If it is clear, then you have nothing to worry about.Wrap with a pressure bandage.Do a massage at night and keep it warm.Take a simple painkiller to relieve the pain.It will get fine in 2 to 3 weeks completely. I hope this was helpful You can get back to me with another query anytime Regards Dr Faeza Sherdil
