Diarrhea aces times a day after eating, loud popping noises, indigestion, pain in lower abdomen and pain in right side of abdomen that goes under the rib to the back up under the shoulder blade can be due to the following reasons: Entero-colitis meaning infection of the small and/or large intestines. Also gall bladder pain can go to the area you described as being under the rib and being referred to the under shoulder blade, that is scapula. This can be diagnosed by the following: Tests of stool for 3 consecutive days. Tests of blood for CBC, thyroid, diabetes, liver functions. Ultrasound of the abdomen. CT scan if needed. This will give the most proper diagnosis for getting the correct management. Specific treatment like gall bladder removal may be needed if there is a problem related to gall bladder like cholecystitis with or without stones. A course of an antibiotic, metronidazole may be needed. Add on yogurt, bananas helps us a bit. Note the specific foods and beverages that cause the symptoms and stop them altogether.
