How To Treat Esophageal Cancer?

My husband was dignosed with esophageal cancer 3 years ago. He had his sophagus removed. He went through chemo and radiation. He was cancer free for 2years and 9 months. Then cancer was found in his thoratic lymph nodes. The doctor removed what he cou;d. My husband has gone through chemo and radiation again. Do you think his cancer can be cured?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
He has esophageal cancer and now it is spread to the lymphnode. Treatment of choice is surgical excision followed by chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Chances of recurrence is there if there is incomplete removal of cancerous tissue.
