How To Treat Dog Bite?

Hello,
My 15 year old son has been bitten by a 6 year old golden retriever dog who has been vaccinated throughly. Should I get him injections one of the doctor advised to get him tetnus injection. Is there anything else to be done ,as I do not want to to take any chance ?

If the dog was vaccinated for rabies, I dont suggest much action. A TT may be recommended for sure. I would recommend washing the wounds with soap and water. If there was no break in the skin, or if there was no lick on an open wound, I dont think your need to worry too much

keep the dog under observation. Do that for 15 days and watch it for signs of hydrophobia for 15 days
