After the ecography he explaind me that my left ovary is filled with menstrual blood, because of endometriosis. He gave me Yasmin for one month, and than we tried again for other 2 months and still nothing. My husband s spermiogram resulted ok. Now my question is: Are This 12 months of infertily normal, because my right ovary seems normal. The doc suggested me to stay calm, because im young, and stress isnt good for the fertility problems. should i trust him. Im in panic

Thank you for your query.

I understand your concern.

The main concerns in Endometriosis are fertility problems and pain.

You mentioned that your doctor diagnosed you with endometriosis based on your Ultrasound .
Do you usually have painful periods or pain during intercourse? ( consequence of endometriosis).

The sure way of diagnosing and treating endometriosis (and possibly the infertility associated with it), it's extent , severity and effect on fertility is by a laparoscopy ( where a long tube with a camera at the end will be inserted into your tummy to have a look in to your abdomen and visualise directly the 'endometriomas' and its extent.)

Treatment plans will be based on the findings.
If you are below 30 yrs ( which you are) and have been trying for more than a year , I would suggest consulting a fertility specialist/ reproductive endocrinologist/ OBGYN team. In view of the endometriosis, time cannot be taken for granted and since you are trying for a pregnancy all possible options should be considered and tried to get pregnant as soon as possible.

Your doctor is right in asking you to stay calm. Stress doesn't help.
you are young and have many options. it is still possible to get pregnant naturally. ( a woman your age without any fertility issues has only a 25 % chance of conceiving each month) . until proven that your endometriosis is getting in the way of you conceiving, you have an equal chance.

I recommend you try naturally for a couple more months ( no stress involved) and if it doesn't work out, seek out help from the team I mentioned above.
I would like to suggest a few tips while trying to conceive naturally.
If you have regular cycles, monitor your Basal body temperature and try to pinpoint your ovulation date ( you can find this information online- Google basal body temperature monitoring to detect ovulation). try to have intercourse in the period from 3 days before to three days after ovulation( at least alternate days). you could enhance the detection of approaching ovulation by using the ovulation prediction kits as well which will detect the LH SURGE in your body( ovulation occurs 18 to 48 hours after this surge.

eat healthy, take your folic acid supplements and stay stress free by exercising and keeping your mind off the negative aspects ( keep your face to the sunshine and you won't see the shadow:-)).

hope this helps and you conceive soon.
wish you good health
