How To Treat Dark Skin In Lower Legs?

Dear Dr. My brother is having problem in his lower legs. Day by day legs becoming dark/black color. He went to skin doctor, but they are saying it is not curable and the cause of the decease is blood is coming out from the cell of the leg. but it remains just inner part of the skin, not coming out of out side of the skin and skin is becoming darkness. One of the homeopathic doctor is saying its not that blood coming out , rather it is infection from dirty water where viruses creating the skin black. To cure it that viruses to clean. But after 3 months experiment done by the doctor, no result. Requesting you to please suggest something Thanking You Regards, Monotosh Laha

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Sir, wanted to know which part of lower leg is involved. If it is toe then the cause may be decreased blood supply due to blockage in arterial supply. There is not much treatment available for that. If it is in other area fungal skin infection can be a cause. Apply Terbinex cream and keep the area dry. donot apply soap. Clean with warm water.
