Hi,

Is this associated with fever or breathing difficulty? Any relation of cough to exertion or time of the day? We need to find out the cause and treat it. If caused by infections or allergy, this can be well treated with appropriate drugs. Sometimes, this can happen if the cancer involves a bronchus. If this is the case, let us expect some improvement with chemotherapy. Kindly see your doctor for evaluation. Meanwhile, antihistamines like Levocetirizine 5mg tablet taken at night might offer some relief.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
